All the way from Syria to finding home in Knightec
// news
Back in 2017, the journey of 5 years in Engineering School during my BSc degree came to an end, and I had realized that the actual chapter of life was starting back then. Strengthened by hope and driven by curiosity and passion, I had to leave home, family, and friends in Syria after the challenging times that the region has been through to have my own new start.
I always believed in ``Develop a passion for learning. If you do, you will never cease to grow.`` - Anthony J. D'Angelo.
For the last four years, I have been to several countries in Europe, doing my Master’s degree in Hungary, my thesis internship with (ITK Engineering at Bosch) in Stuttgart- Germany. I started my career with a full-time position at Bosch in Budapest- Hungary as a System Development Engineer in the li-Ion battery systems, which was the starting point of my career which coincided with the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.
Each of these steps constantly evolved from being challenging, depressing, breathtaking. Finally, an experience I will always be deeply grateful for and for those beautiful people who accompanied me through.
Last August, as a System Development Consultant, I started a new chapter with Knightec in Västerås - Sweden. I was thrilled listening to the details of the offer and the nature of the job, apprehensive about the change and the new step, and bold enough to accept the offer and to move to a new set of life details and qualities, and with the first four months, I can tell, it is worth it! Everything is as organized, professional, and human-centered as expected, and the diverse areas of projects that the company is working in are at the core of today’s technology.
While I am always full of hope and persistence to continue my adventure, I believe that Knightec was the correct choice to help me do what I am passionate about.
