Cyber security - a continuous process

Sweden is a world-leading nation in several areas within innovation and development of new digital solutions. Being at the forefront and being one of the world's most digitalized countries places high demands on cybersecurity.

For Jakob and his colleagues, it is always a matter of balancing different standards.

The systems we handle are often complex. Our customers operate primarily in the Life Science sector and what happens when you only follow the general standards is that the systems stop working.

Despite this, Windows hardening is something you constantly work on and which plays an important role in development.

I first look at what standards we can follow. Then I look at the current systems, configuration, and hardening needed for a particular system to be able to roll. It is only then that we can get started and work our way to a security solution that can work for the customer in question, Jakob explains.

Knightec works actively with its customers to increase Sweden's companies' cybersecurity. Jakob has more innovation ideas on how to work even more efficiently to create secure systems, something he hopes to realize in the near future.
