Through the merger, Knightec broadens its range of services and becomes a leading player in service design and digital product and service development.
The acquisition is part of Knightec's strategy to drive clients' transformation in product development through more substantial client offerings and new business models. Two strong corporate cultures become one super strong and create excellent conditions for continued successful development.
- The goal of the acquisition is to create Europe's most vital innovation company in product development and digitalization. Deep expertise in the client experience and digital product development will be crucial for our clients' product and service development. Together with Daresay, we will support all our clients in an even better way in their transformation, says Dimitris Gioulekas, CEO of Knightec.
From the start, 2008, Daresay has combined a user-centered approach, based on design thinking, with expertise in the development of digital services. The clients are in both the public and private sectors. Today, Daresay consists of almost 100 employees, with around 20 different cultural backgrounds in Stockholm and Umeå.
Daresay's strong value-based culture and team-focused approach match Knightec's forward-looking and inclusive approach well. Following the acquisition, Knightec will consist of more than 800 employees, of which approximately 100 employees will specialize in client experiences and about 300 in software and digitization.
- Together with Knightec, our joint competence will be deepened and broadened. We will support society's digitalization in an even better way through a strengthened service portfolio and help both existing and new clients in their transition. It will mean new development opportunities for our employees, thanks to a broader client offering and new colleagues, says David Furendal, founder of Daresay.
