E-mobility from Knightec: an engineering partner offering

// news

Knightec's vision is to lead the way for the next generation of sustainable electric vehicles and transportation systems. Together with our clients, we know we can make a real difference and steer the world towards a sustainable future.

Knightec is connected to e-mobility and its design and component suppliers in Sweden’s electrification hub. As an innovative engineering group, we offer a safe, competitive, and holistic solution.

The area of technology is developing fast, and Knightec is at the forefront within electric propulsion, energy storage systems and system design that reaches through the whole range from non-road vehicles, infrastructure, and user-friendliness to e-mobility in racing. Knightec utilises methods and processes designed with roots in agile and scrum, particularly for e-mobility, to ensure a result that reflects the initial requirements and user needs.

We define the areas as follows:

Electrification [Broad] defines the integration of electrical systems and components where electric power will or already is the primary initiation of function. Electrification refers to the process of changing something so that it works with electricity.

E-mobility refers to the propulsion and actuation of electric vehicles. E-mobility refers to all automotive, heavy machinery and fleets that use electrical power as the primary energy source and electrical motors as the primary source of propulsion. The concept includes powertrain technologies cooperating with in-vehicle information, communication technologies, control systems and shared infrastructure to enable external or internal electric energy. For functionality and value, we deliver complete e-drive solutions through hardware and systemisation.

Electrification is happening right now, and it will be challenging. The priorities between projects are complex, so working with a partner will lead to the next generation of electric vehicles.
