As a newly appointed CMO, Jens brings an invaluable perspective to the marketing and communication function. With over six years in various roles within Knightec, he has developed a deep understanding of Knightec’s culture, value proposition, and how they do business. Such a holistic understanding allows Jens to bring unique insights to the company.
Jens joined Knightec as a leader in 2017 to build up the design area in Stockholm. He elaborates, “I gained valuable experience building a competence area and familiarizing myself with our client’s challenges and needs. I also recruited many talents in this role, which made me understand the talent market.” Jens continues, “I had a shared role as a team leader for the Huawei design team, which gave me an even deeper understanding of the client from within.”
After a time as a team leader at Knightec and Huawei, Jens moved to an expert role (Advisor) within Knightec, working even closer to clients and the business. During this time, dialogues regarding acquisitions and partnerships were ongoing, resulting in Daresay being part of Knightec and later Ratos as a partner. “I became more involved in brand, market, and communication when we worked closely to find qualified investors. I learned much about what they value and look for.”
All this knowledge and experience means Jens today has an exciting mix that creates significant value in his newly assumed role as CMO. His broad expertise and constant focus on client and customer value have helped Jens develop well within Knightec.
