Partnerships often play a crucial role in social give-back programs. Please tell us about any collaborations or partnerships that have contributed to the success of Lets Uptech.
In a significant milestone in 2021/2022, Let’s Uptech embarked on a unique journey through a partnership led by Knightec, Scania, and Granitor—three of Sweden’s foremost tech companies. This collaboration has been instrumental in shaping Let’s Uptech’s evolution over the past two years, emphasizing the profound impact that collective strength can have.
Another vital partnership that has catalyzed significant developments and the growth of Let’s Uptech is our collaboration with Botkyrka municipality. Together, we have meticulously outlined a roadmap for Let’s Uptech’s increase while engaging with three municipal schools: Hammerstaskolan, Grindtorpsskolan, and Karsby International School. These schools have been integral to Let’s Uptech for a year now, and we eagerly anticipate the continued progression of our collaboration.

Social impact programs sometimes require innovative approaches. Are there any unique or particularly effective initiatives within “Lets Uptech” that you’d like to highlight?
A hallmark feature of our program is its unique adaptation of the innovation task to align with the core content of technology for ninth-grade students—a transformation implemented two years ago. This deliberate adjustment seamlessly integrates Let’s Uptech into the school’s regular curriculum, firmly embedding it into grade-level education. This introduces fresh educational prospects within the school and guarantees an equal opportunity for every student to participate in the task. For those who emerge as winners, this accomplishment is a gateway to a coveted summer job with one of our esteemed partner companies. Ultimately, this approach levels the playing field, offering students of diverse abilities an equitable chance at success.
Looking ahead, what is the long-term vision for “Lets Uptech”? How do you plan to ensure the program’s sustainability and continued positive impact in the coming years?
In just two short years, Let’s Uptech has experienced tremendous growth. We’ve evolved from collaborating with seven schools to now encompassing an impressive network of 16 schools across six locations in Sweden. We’ve successfully launched the second iteration of Let’s Uptech’s student program, aimed at cultivating stronger connections with emerging talent from universities.
Looking forward, we are committed to maintaining this momentum. Our vision includes expanding the opportunity for more schools to join the Let’s Uptech initiative and working towards establishing the student program on a national scale. Through collaborations with various stakeholders at different levels, we remain steadfast in our mission to effect real and meaningful change. Making a positive impact drives us, and we’re determined to continue doing just that.
